Now that the weather is getting colder and the sun is setting earlier, it’s time to think about winter. As you get your house and wardrobe ready, don’t forget to get your Nissan ready, too! Not sure what to do? Don’t worry, the Service Department at West End Nissan can help. Here are a few recommendations.
- Cold weather amplifies existing engine issues, so take care of your engine with routine oil and filter changes. An oil change will clean out dirt and debris, and increase your engine’s efficiency.
- Summer tires are great for hot and dry conditions. But as we shift to cold and snowy drives, have a set of winter tires installed. Winter tires are specifically engineered to handle on snowy roads, and to outlast the coldest weather.
- Weak batteries are susceptible to extreme temperatures, leaving you stranded at the worst moments. Have your battery tested to make sure it’s strong enough to withstand the frigid winter temperatures. Install a new battery if needed.
It’s not too early to think about winterizing your Nissan. Schedule your appointment online, and we’ll see you soon!
