Available Driver-Assist Technologies
Other advanced driver-assist features include the Intelligent Backup Intervention. When backing out of a parking spot, it can work with other features to detect cars crossing behind you and activate the brakes to avoid hitting them. With Intelligent Forward Collision Warning, the 2022 Armada can detect traffic up to two cars ahead of you. It can also detect when vehicles suddenly slow down and warn you ahead of time. When out on the road, other features like the Intelligent Blind Spot Intervention and Intelligent Lane Intervention can alert you when other vehicles are in your blind spots. If you try to change lanes, it can provide some steering correction and apply the brakes to help avoid improper lane changes. The Intelligent Cruise Control can also control the speed and braking to keep a set following distance on your commute.
Driver-Assist Camera Technology
The available Intelligent Rear View Mirror replaces the standard mirror with a high-resolution screen. It can provide you with a live video of the liftgate camera for a wider view of what's behind you. Standard features like the Intelligent Around View Monitor can give you a 360-degree view. It combines multiple camera angles to give you a bird's-eye view to help you see what's around you.
Advanced Drive-Assist Display
With the available 7-inch display, the Advanced Drive-Assist Display sits between the various gauges to provide key driver information such as upcoming traffic signs, speed limits, and even tire pressure in real-time. You can switch between the different screens with controls on the steering wheel. When you use various driver-assist and safety features, alerts will appear on the Drive-Assist Display to help you stay aware when you are out on the road.

Advanced safety features like the Electronic Brake Force Distribution feature can detect the weight distribution in the 2022 Armada and adjust the rear brakes to account for the weight. Other features like the Traction Control System can detect when there's a wheel spin. When it detects this, it will automatically lower the throttle and apply the brakes to certain wheels to help you stay in control. When an accident can't be avoided, the Nissan Armada is built with specially placed crumple zones to reduce impact force and is reinforced in other areas to help keep you and your passengers safe. There is also an advanced airbag system equipped with dual-stage supplemental front airbags and sensors designed to deploy the airbags for maximum protection.
