The 2022 Armada features best-in-class standard max towing of up to 8,500 pounds when properly equipped. The 2022 Armada is built for towing with a standard integrated trailer brake controller located on the center dash to improve stability. You can activate the trailer brakes at a push of a button. There are also standard features like Trailer Sway Control that can monitor the movement of the trailer and automatically manage the brakes to help you stay in control. Thanks to the auto-levelling suspension, you and your passengers will have a comfortable ride that can smooth things out when riding through rough terrain or even when towing. This platform is built on the Armada's welded ladder frame reinforced with full-length box-section rails for added strength when hauling or towing. You can choose between a Class III or Class IV hitch ball mount depending on what type of towing you want to do with the Armada.
Off-Road & Four-Wheel-Drive Capability
Each Nissan Armada comes with an Intelligent four-wheel-drive system that can help you manage a wide range of terrain thanks to the two-speed transfer case. You can keep the 2022 Armada in Auto Mode, but you can switch to others modes such as 4HI, 4LO, or Snow Mode to handle off-roading or poor weather conditions on your way to your destination. The system is designed to engage the brakes automatically when it starts to detect wheel slip so that you have the most amount of traction.
