Working Around a Dead Fob


  1. Look for a small release latch and push it
  2. Pull out the emergency key
  3. Unlock the doors
  4. Look for a key fob port to start the car
  5. Push the Start/Stop button
  6. If you Nissan does not have a port, place the fob against the Start/Stop button


Changing Nissan Fob Battery


  1. Push the small release latch and remove the emergency key
  2. Remove the key housing and get the old battery out
  3. Remember how the batter came out
  4. Place a new battery inside
  5. Reassemble the key fob and test to make sure it is working
